| Publication regarding changes in voting rights according to Art. 21 SESTA |
Lonza Group Ltd, Muenchensteinerstrasse 38, 4002 Basel, announces that it has been informed by Allianz SE, Königinstr. 28, DE-80802 München, on 10 April 2007 that its participation in the voting rights via (i) Dresdner Bank AG, Jürgen-Ponto-Platz 1, DE-60301 Frankfurt am Main and (ii) Dresdner Kleinwort Securities Ltd, 30 Gresham Street, GB-London EC3P 3XY, fell below the threshold of 5%.
